What to Expect on a Wildlife Photography Trip

Arctic Wild trips are true wilderness journeys where the weather and wildlife dictate the pace and activities of our days. Typically we fly deep into the wilderness and set up a comfortable camp where we expect wildlife to be visible and abundant. Once the tents are up you can leave the camp chores to us and focus on the beauty around you. Your guide will be on hand to lead hikes, help you set up a blind, teach you about the natural history of the area or coach you on photographic technique. With Alaska's long summer days and endless wilderness the possibilities are boundless.

Preparing for a Photography Trip

Bring along a sense of adventure and plenty of batteries. Wildlife is unpredictable and we may have to walk some distance to get the best shots, but we have also had tens of thousdands of caribou pour right through camp. A desire to see Alaska's wildest places and enthusiasm for the trip will ensure your Alaska wildlife photography trip is a success.
