The Arctic has no end of great adventures, but Alaska is a big state, so we are offering a few trip south of the Arctic Circle. If you have traveled with us many times before and feel that you have been everywhere in the arctic, or are new to Alaskan adventures there is something for everyone in our subarctic trips. The weather on these trips tends to be a little bit warmer than our arctic trips, but they are just as wild. In 2008, subarctic trips will include a canoe trip in Katmai National Park, renowned for its phenomenal (and frequent) bear viewing opportunities, and raft trips on the National Wild and Scenic Charley River and on the frothy Copper River. Read the trip itineraries for more details.
